最後根據研究結果與結論,建議大學舞蹈系學生應多關心自己,肯定自我,堅持所學;同時,在面對壓力狀態時,主動尋求情緒抒發管道,並且積極參予心理相關課程與研習活動;在學校方面,大學舞蹈系教師除了瞭解學生之個體差異,並落實輔導功能,協助舞蹈系學生之舞蹈生涯規劃;在未來相關研究方面,應納入相關變相及擴充研究對像範圍,藉由不同視角切入新觀點,使未來研究內容更為完整。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of type A behavior pattern、learning stress and performance anxiety for the s college students of Dance Department in Taiwan. In addition、it is to explore the personal background variables for the students of Dance Department on the differences of type A behavior、learning stress and performance anxiety. According to the study result、the concrete proposals would be expected as the references of learning and correlative study for the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan in the future.
The method used for this study was by questionnaires. The study objects were the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan in the academic year 2006. Census in full was conducted. There were 860 samples in the formal tests. The questionnaires retrieved were 691、and the effective samples are 658. Thus the retrieving rate of effective questionnaire is 94.5%. The questionnaires consist of four sections: Personal Background Survey、Type A Behavior Pattern Scale、Learning Stress Scale and Performance Anxiety Scale. All the data gathered are analyzed by statistical methods: frequency distribution、percentage、mean、standard deviation、single t-test、independent t-test、one-way ANOVA、Scheffe’s method、Pearson’s product-moment correlation、multiple stepwise regression and etc. The results obtained are as follows:
1. Over ninety percent of students are female among the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan.
2. Second-grade students are the most among the college students of
Dance Department in Taiwan.
3. The students in public colleges are the most among the college students
of Dance Department in Taiwan.
4. The students without groups are the most among the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan.
5. Regarding the learning backgrounds of the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan、the students in formal classes are the most in elementary school. The students in dance classes are the most in junior high school as well as senior high school.
6. The dance learning experience of 11-15 years is the most among the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan.
7. Choosing the current learning as performance aspirations is the most among the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan.
8. Type A behavior pattern of the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan tends to the obvious situation. The most obvious type A behavior pattern is time rush.
9. Learning stress of the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan
tends to the moderate level. The learning stress of personal factors is the most.
10. Performance anxiety of the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan tends to the moderate level. The performance anxiety of abnormal performances is the most.
11. In regard to type A behavior pattern、there are partially significant differences on majors、dance backgrounds and dance learning experience of the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan. The students without groups would feel much more type A behavior pattern of hard competition and the sense of achievement than the ones in Chinese dance. The whole type A behavior pattern of learning background in senior high school is apparently higher than in junior high and elementary school. The whole type A behavior pattern would be highly felt on dance learning experience.
12.There are significant differences on learning stress of performance aspirations of the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan. Regarding grades and schools、there are partially significant differences on learning stress. The students without groups would feel much more learning stress of learning environment than the ones in modern dance. Refer to performance aspirations、the whole learning stress of other aspirations is apparently higher than the aspirations based on current learning.
13.In regard to performance anxiety、there are partially significant differences on majors、dance backgrounds and dance learning experience of the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan.
14. The four factors – personal factors、the load of courses、the interaction between teachers and students and relationship among peers can most effectively forecast performance anxiety to the college students of Dance Department in Taiwan.
Finally、according to the study result and conclusion、we suggest that the college students of Dance Department should be concerned about themselves more、approve of themselves and insist on their learning. Meanwhile、when facing stress、the students should forwardly look for ways to off-load emotions and actively take part in related psychological courses and study activity. In colleges、professors of Dance Department should understand individual differences among students and conduct guidance. Besides、they may help the students of Dance Department with dance career planning. For the future correlative study、related variables and the extension of study objects and range should be subsumed. With different point of view、the study may be more complete in the future.
