摘要:	由於國道警察工作角色及勤務性質特殊，其工時長且壓力大，參與休閒活動與時間相對較少，本研究旨在瞭解國道公路警察休閒參與和休閒阻礙之現況，並探討不同背景變項的國道警察人員休閒參與和休閒阻礙的差異情形，以及相互間的關係。研究採問卷調查法，以國道公路警察局警察人員為研究對象，依照局本部與外設9個分隊，分層比例抽樣隨機取得有效問卷533份。研究結果發現：性別、服務年資、服務職稱、服務地區等不同背景變項在整體休閒參與上有顯著差異；服務職稱等不同背景變項在整體休閒阻礙上有顯著差異；服務地區在人際阻礙上亦達顯著差異；國道警察人員整體休閒參與和整體休閒阻礙呈現有顯著相關性。針對研究結果對國道警察人員提出建議：國道警察人員應多參與動態性的休閒活動，及提早培養個人的嗜好型活動；亦對警政單位的建議：重視警察人員休閒需求，舉辦相關活動，並透過常年術科體技訓練辦理有益員警身心健康之活動。其研究結果以供警察人員、警政機關及後續研究之參考，對警察人員休閒生活層面有所助益。 Primarily duties of National highway policemen are to enforce traffic safety compliance and apprehend criminals on highways that lead to overloading shifts and a stressful lifestyle. Yet time for participating in leisure activities is limited. Owing to a lack of leisure research of National highway policemen in Taiwan. The purpose of this study aimed to investigate the major dimensions of leisure constraints toward leisure participation of National highway policemen in Taiwan; in addition, to examine differences varying among demographic backgrounds. This study applied random stratified sampling method to survey National highway policemen on 9 branches. The effective sample number is 533. Leisure Constrains Scale and Leisure Participation Scale were employed. Results reveal that there are significant differences on leisure participation among backgrounds (e.g., sex, title, years of service, areas). Significant differences are also found on leisure constraints among titles, and on interpersonal constraints among areas. Overall, leisure participation and leisure constraints of national highway police are slightly positive correlated.This study suggests that highway policemen need to participate in active leisure activities and to develop various personal leisure habits. Suggestions to police administers for providing various leisure participating opportunities and information to policemen. It is also critical to offer leisure education courses along with policemen regular physical training to help induce leisure interests and skills.
