    Abstract: 本計畫擬與洋桔梗專業花農與貿易商合作,針對空運銷日洋桔梗,建立專門之採收後處理改善流程,研發相關保鮮藥劑,以提升台灣洋桔梗切花在日趨嚴苛之日本市場中的競爭優勢。本研究將調查台灣不同產地及業者,空運銷日洋桔梗切花瓶插壽命及觀賞品質之現存常見問題,以及不同來源內銷洋桔梗切花之採收後品質表現,並測試不同採收後處理方式對空運外銷洋桔梗切花品質之改善程度。預計效益包括:比較三個以上來源,五栽培種以上的內銷洋桔梗切花採收後瓶插品質,並於期末改善模擬空運外銷日本切花整體品質指標百分之十以上。
    The present study have investigated the primitive quality of more than 6 cultivars of cut Eustoma flowers, e.g., Voyage series, Carmen series etc. The vase life, degrees and numbers of florets opened, bending rate of pedicels were significantly different among various cultivars and growers. Future investigation will continue to make more reasonable suggestions. As for simulted air transport, the application of pretreatment significantly improve the performance of stored cut flowers, e.g., the degrees and numbers of floret opened, vase life, and pedicel bending rate. The quality of cut Eustoma flowers purchased from local market were significantly improved by holding solution containing sugars and germicides. However, there were often some cut flowers showing symptoms affecting the overall quality. It was obvious that the quality of cut Eustoma flowers for local consumption requires more than just investigation.
