This thesis is focused on Felix Mendelssohn’s Rondo Capriccioso op.14, Fantasie op.28 and Variations Serieuses op.54. It consists of six chapters.
The first chapter, introduction, includes the studies of motives, purposes, scope and methods.
The second chapter explores for a summary of Mendelssohn’s lifetime events and music creative background.
The third chapter is an analysis and interpretation of Rondo Capriccioso op.14.
The fourth chapter is an analysis and interpretation of Fantasie op.28.
The fifth chapter is an analysis and interpretation of Variations Serieuses op.54.
The sixth chapter combines the creative background, style, analysis, interpretation of these three Mendelssohn’s piano works into a conclusions.
