    題名: 協助未成年子女進入遊戲治療的父母其求助經驗之初探
    Parents' Help-seeking Experiences for Their Children in Play Therapy: An Exploratory Study.

    摘要: 本研究主要探究父母協助子女尋求遊戲治療的求助經驗以及經驗中的影響因素。本研究共邀請到三位研究參與者,兩位女性,一位男性,參與者們都攜帶子女進行自費遊戲治療,進行治療的場域有一位在醫院,兩位在社區。研究採半結構深度訪談進行,訪談資料使用內容分析法進行整理與分析。研究結果如下:
    1.
    父母協助子女進行自費治療的求助經驗,經歷了四個階段,保守行動階段、嘗試階段、鬆動階段、積極行動階段。
    2.
    父母協助子女求助的經驗相當多元。在保守行動階段,父母共有的次主題為「父母未理解孩子心理議題或不以為意」、「父母看見孩子拒學/人際與行為議題,以及焦慮與憤怒情緒」。在嘗試階段,父母共有的次主題為「試圖理解、尋求建議/資源解決」、「嘗試解決議題」。在鬆動階段,父母共有的次主題為「父母身心壓力大,感到失控、挫敗、躁鬱」、「心理衛生知能增加」。在積極行動階段,父母共有的次主題為「跳脫他人眼光,配合治療安排」。

    影響父母協助子女求助的因素可以被分成三個面向,分別是:個人、家庭、環境因素。每個面向都包含阻力與助力,個人面向中的阻力有:評估嚴重程度低、不懂諮商、人力有限。個人面向中的助力有:壓力大、覺得問題嚴重、無法解決問題、開放求助、期許孩子心理健康、孩子喜歡治療師、時間彈性。家庭面向的阻力有:不認為孩子需要治療、不信任遊戲治療、認為帶孩子去治療是貼標籤。家庭面向的助力有:不排斥心理治療、願意共同決策治療、公開表達支持治療、協助照顧手足。環境因素面向的阻力有:機構、朋友。環境因素面向的助力有:機構、學校、朋友、新聞報導、專業人員。
    本研究依據研究結果提出研究建議與實務建議,供未來相關研究或與父母工作的專業人員參考。
    This study primarily investigates the experiences of parents assisting their
    children in seeking play therapy and the influencing factors within these experiences.
    The study involved three participants, two females, and one male, all of whom
    accompanied their children for self-funded play therapy sessions, conducted either in
    a hospital or community center. Semi-structured interviews were employed, and the
    interview data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings of the study are as
    follows:
    1. The experience of parents assisting their children in self-funded therapy goes
    through four stages: the conservative action stage, the trial stage, the loosening
    stage, and the proactive action stage
    2. The experiences of parents assisting their children in seeking help are diverse. In
    the conservative action stage, common subthemes include "Parents not
    understanding or paying attention to child's psychological issues" and "Parents
    observing refusal to learn/interpersonal and behavioral issues, along with anxiety
    and anger emotions." In the trial stage, common subthemes are "Attempting to
    understand, seeking advice/resources for resolution" and "Attempting to solve the
    issues." In the loosening stage, common subthemes are "Parents experiencing
    significant mental and emotional stress, feeling out of control, defeated, and
    irritable" and "Increased mental health literacy." In the proactive action stage, a
    common subtheme is "Breaking free from societal judgment, cooperating with
    therapy arrangements."
    3. Factors influencing parents in helping their children seek assistance can be
    categorized into three dimensions: personal, family, and environmental factors. In
    the personal dimension, challenges include low severity assessment, counseling
    unawareness, and limited resources. Support in the personal dimension involves
    stress acknowledgment, recognizing the problem's seriousness, openness to
    seeking help, and flexible time management.Within the family dimension,
    resistance may arise from disbelief in the child needing therapy, mistrust in play
    therapy, and perceiving therapy as labeling. Support in the family dimension
    includes acceptance of psychological therapy, collaborative decision-making,
    open expression of support, and active assistance with siblings.Environmental
    factors resistance involves institutional and peer influences, while support
    includes institutional factors, school, friends, news reports, and professional
    recommendations.
    This study provides research and practical recommendations based on the results
    for future related studies or professionals working with parents.
