This study mainly investigates the relationship between maternal perception of marital quality, social support, and parenting stress behavior in public childcare centers. The research aims to. 1. Understand the current situation of maternal perception of marital quality, social support, and parenting stress behavior in using public childcare centers. 2. Examine the differences in maternal perception of marital quality, social support, and parenting stress behavior between users and non-users of public childcare centers. 3. Investigate the maternal perception of marital quality among users of public childcare centers. This study collected research data through a questionnaire survey, with mothers using public childcare centers in Zhonghe District and Tucheng District, New Taipei City, as the research subjects. Self-administered questionnaires were used for data collection. A total of 495 questionnaires were distributed, and 388 questionnaires were collected, yielding a response rate of 78.38%. There were 388 valid questionnaires with valid responses."
    1. The majority of mothers in the New Taipei City Public Childcare Centers are aged between 31 and 40. They mostly have a university degree and earn a salary of over 40,001 NT$. B: Small families are predominantly represented, with the majority having two children."
    2. In the public childcare centers in New Taipei City, overall marriage quality among mothers is highest in terms of 'respect and satisfaction in interactions', and lowest in terms of 'degree of consistency'. Social support is divided into three parts: government, family, and non-governmental organization support: (1) Government social support is perceived highest in terms of "informational support" and lowest in terms of "emotional support". (2)Family social support is perceived highest in terms of "instrumental support", followed by "emotional support" and "informational support" at the same level. (3)Among social support from non-governmental organizations, the highest perceived support is in the form of informational support, while the lowest perceived support is in the form of emotional support. In terms of overall parenting issues among mothers of young children, the highest perceived factor is related to parental factors, followed by child factors.
3.Through differential analysis based on basic information, it was found that there are differences in marital quality, social support, and parenting behaviors.(1) Regarding marriage quality, the mothers of children in single-parent families, blended families, and extended families in the public daycare centers in New Taipei City show a higher level of satisfaction in terms of emotional communication, consistency, respect, and interaction. No significant differences were observed for the other groups.(2) In terms of government social support, mothers in New Taipei City who have obtained specialized education degrees express higher satisfaction with the instrumental support provided. However, the remaining factors do not reach a significant level.(3) Among mothers of young children enrolled in public daycare centers in New Taipei City with a monthly income of over 40,001 NT$, there was a higher level of satisfaction in terms of emotional support from family social support, while no significant differences were observed among others.(4) Among the mothers in New Taipei City's public childcare centers who are between the ages of 31-40 and 41-50, there is a more noticeable satisfaction in parenting behavior due to parental factors. For the rest, it is not significant.
    4. There is a positive correlation between marital quality and social support, and both marital quality and social support are negatively correlated with parenting stress behavior.
    5. The quality of marriage and social support (government, family, civil society) can predict 21.7% of the variance in parenting stress behaviors "parental factors, The results indicate that the higher the consensus on household chores in mothers using public daycare centers, the lower the parental factors of childcare stress in fathers. The higher the perceived emotional support from government social support, the lower the parental factors of childcare stress. The higher the satisfaction in respect and interaction in marital quality, the lower the parental factors of childcare stress. The relationship between marital quality and social support (government, family, community) predicts 8.8% of the variance in child factors. The results indicate that mothers who use public daycare centers have lower perceptions of parenting stress when their marital quality is characterized by respect and satisfactory interactions.
