ring that the impact of climate change is likely to increase, young generations and future generations are likely to be affected by climate change even more than now. The perceptions and behaviors of the younger generation towards climate change deserve attention. In this study, we analyze the relationship between the values and behaviors of young university students in order to understand their potential to mitigate climate change.
This study will collect data through a questionnaire survey of university students who have relatively mature mentally, and this study conduct statistical analysis and binary regression analysis to understand whether the behaviors of these young people, who will be most affected by climate change, are influenced by value belief theories. This study confirms that university students' values do influence their behavior in response to climate change and that university education has an impact on university students' behavior.
This study answered the following question: What factors influence college students' behavior in response to climate change? Several folds of study results of the study revealed that.
    (1) University students generally have a high level of awareness of climate change.
    (2) They generally have a relevant understanding of the impact of climate change.
    (3) The values and beliefs influence the behavior of university students in dealing with climate change.
    (4) The course selection will show the behavior of university students in response to climate change.
    (5) There is a significant negative relationship between the course selection behavior of business management and finance courses and environmental resources and climate change courses.
Based on the above findings, this study proposes the following recommendations.
    (1) The design of climate change-related education courses is suggested to specifically construct altruistic value beliefs and reduce self-interest among university students.
    (2) To integrate climate education into the business and finance curriculum to increase the environmental care and climate responsibility awareness of business and finance students. The study results is subject to the sampling data, gathering from the students on rolled in the university the study time, in this study, a questionnaire was used to collect cross-sectional data on current university students. The results of this study show the awareness and behavior of this group of students in response to climate change. It is suggested that future studies may expand the range of respondents. To reflect the reality of wide range of young population. Furthermore, previous literature (Rye, Rubba, and Wiesenmayer, 1997; Shepardson et al., 2009; Colebrook, 2014) had suggested that young people's understanding of climate change is often based on video and media. And today's young generation is highly involved in online information. How to exert influence through online systems and social media will be a topic worthy of further study in the future.
