The purpose of this study was to investigate the sports injuries of the junior high school male basketball team players in New Taipei City. This research adopts the questionnaire survey method, which is conducted with the Junior High School male basketball team in New Taipei City as the research object. The tool is the "Sports Injury Questionnaire". The following results were obtained by descriptive statistics. Result: 1. Most injury knowledge is from trainer, the rate is 71.2% and 50.4% from the coaches. They also believe that the setting of trainer during training is necessary, and they all hope that the coach can teach more knowledge about basketball injuries, protection and prevention during the usual training process. The most injured parts of the players were ankle joints 64.3%, fingers 51.6%, and knee joints 38.1%. The most common type of injury was sprain, the rate is 82.5%. The main causes of injury were physical fatigue 40.5% and insufficient warm-up in 34.9%. The timing of occurrence is mainly during the training, and the rate is 89.7%. 2. The most common treatment is ice compress 89.7%, hot compress 31.7%, massage 12.9%. For medical chooses, the combination of Chinese medicine and modern medicine is the most 35.7%, modern medicine is 32.5%, and Chinese medicine is 23%. The injury impact time is from one week to one month with 46.8%. At present, 36.5% of the players still have injuries. Nearly the entire players considered it’s important to learn more about the basketball injuries.
