The purpose of this study is to investigate both the correlation between PhoPhiKat and academic procrastination and this between emotion regulation adjust PhoPhiKat and academic procrastination The independent variable in this study is the three concepts of PhoPhiKat, dependent variable is a endemic procrastination; moderator variable is cognitive change in emotion regulation.
The sampling method used in this study is convenience sampling. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires through the online platform. 292 Universities and colleges students engaged in this study. The following questionnaires were involved in the survey, including traditional Chinese version of ridicule style questionnaire, academic procrastination questionnaire, and emotional regulation questionnaire. With these questionnaires, three corresponding conditions could be understood. According to the result of the study, in PhoPhiKat, Gelotophobia and academic procrastination have positive correlation, Gelotophilia and academic procrastination have no correlation; Katagelasticism and academic procrastination have positive correlation. Emotional Regulation Strategies have no significant impact on balance ridicule style and academic procrastination. This study discussed based on the results and make a suggestion of future study.
