在我們的生活中,處處都充滿著音樂。隨著時代的進步,物質豐裕、科技進步,破壞了整個大自然的生態環境,造成大量的動物滅絕,以往能聽到的蟲鳴嘰嘰、鳥叫喳喳的聲音,都因為生態環境的破壞,漸漸轉少或甚至消失了。
「孕育」這首音樂作品,是一首以環境保育作為主題的音樂作品。研究者以哥斯大黎加的生態保育與台灣的生態保育做對照,分析兩者的生態保育狀況。藉由大自然聲音、傳統樂器與電腦編曲創作做結合,透過科技藝術與展場空間,引領觀賞者一同深入大自然當中,探索大自然生態環境的變化,反思大自然對人類的重要性。
音樂創作內容以慢板、快板、慢板,三段式為主體:第一段「台灣動物所面臨的消失危機」、第二段「哥斯大黎加動物自由自在的生活狀態」、第三段「反思該如何做好台灣生態與環境保育的工作」。
音樂創作歷程不斷地探討與調整,大自然音樂、傳統樂器與電腦編曲,如何與展場空間做一個平衡。研究者經由此次創作過程的經歷,不斷的創新與探討而達到整個展覽的完整性。

The content of music creation is mainly composed of three stages: Adagio, Allegro and Adagio: the first paragraph "The crisis of disappearance faced by animals in Taiwan", the second paragraph "The free life of Costa Rican animals", and the third paragraph. Paragraph "Rethinking how to do well in Taiwan's ecological and environmental conservation work."
The music creation process constantly explores and adjusts how to balance nature music, traditional musical instruments and computer arrangements with the exhibition space. Through the experience of this creative process, the researchers continue to innovate and explore to achieve the integrity of the entire exhibition.
