本文所探討的琵琶協奏曲《絲路飛天》是中國當代作曲家暨琵琶演奏家趙聰於2014年創作。此作品是作曲家親赴敦煌莫高窟采風,在看到壁畫上反彈琵琶的伎樂天後激起創作的靈感,同時於樂曲中運用五項特殊的演奏指法——「颼」、「山口撥奏」、「摘」、「拍板」及「滑弦」,此曲既蘊含了現代音樂的精華,也充分展現了中國音樂的韻味及簡潔精緻,正是觸發筆者的研究動機。本文以敦煌藝術開門見山,當中詳細切入敦煌藝術的歷史與發展、敦煌的飛天及敦煌琵琶譜,進而瞭解《絲路飛天》的創作歷程、音樂風格以及當中蘊含的音樂美學。筆者藉由探討《絲路飛天》的曲式結構、演奏技巧及演奏詮釋,對樂曲的音樂主題更加清晰明瞭,充分掌握了演奏時音色運用的細微變化,更加貼近樂曲的核心情感,從而進行對《絲路飛天》一曲的完整詮釋與演繹。
The pipa concerto "Flying Fairies of the Silk Road" discussed in this thesis was created in 2014 by the Chinese contemporary composer and pipa player,Zhao Cong. In this thesis,the composer personally went to Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes to look for inspiration.After seeing the pipa playing on the mural,Zhao Cong inspired her creation and she uses five unique finger-playing techniques in the music composition–sou(飕),shan kou bo zou(山口撥奏),zhai(摘),pai ban(拍板)and hua xian(滑弦).In addition, "Flying Fairies of the Silk Road"contains the essence of modern music,which also fully demonstrates the charm and simplicity of Chinese music.It is the motivation for this research.
This thesis starts with the art of Dunhuang,including the history and development of Dunhuang art, Dunhuang's flying and Dunhuang pipa scores, and then learned the creation process, music style and musical aesthetics of "Flying Fairies of the Silk Road".Through the analysis of the musical structure,performance techniques and interpretation of "Flying Fairies of the Silk Road",I have a clearer understanding of the composition theme and also fully grasp the subtle changes in the use of timbre during performance.I get closer to the core of this music so that to perform a complete interpretation of "Flying Fairies of the Silk Road".
