大氣與水文科學研究均需仰賴大量觀測資料進行分析與驗證,大氣研究資料庫在科技部的支援下經過多年的經營及資料收集,目前已經有相當多元資料種類及數量,乃學界極為倚賴之資料提供單位。自2018年8月中國文化大學自颱洪中心承接大氣研究資料庫,維持資料庫之運轉且積極讓資料庫的服務項目優化。主持人過去在氣象資料的收集及應用方面投入相當的精力,於是在原資料庫下建立一個服務網頁,規劃逐年將所蒐集的資料圖集放置在服務網頁,除維持大氣研究資料庫的經營之外,提升網頁服務的使用量,更可以讓此資料庫的內容更為完備,故希冀透過此一資料庫之維運,永續提供學研相關單位於大氣水文研究資料之需求。 大氣水文研究資料庫現有之國內外相關單位資料包括:中央氣象局、民航局、環保署及空軍氣象聯隊等等,以及ECMWF、NCEP、JMA等多個單位,收集各種資料包括各式圖檔、文字檔與原始資料檔之總筆數約有三千多萬筆。本年度工作重點如下: 1. 建立備援伺服器及資料儲存系統 2. 持續原有各項更新及購買 3. 補足空缺之資料及網頁整合 4. 自動化方式收集各領域資料 5. 未來將持續串接及擴大政府部資料提供 6. 協助科學實驗計畫建立data catalog 7. 優化資料庫網頁及線上服務系統之內容 8. 高中地科服務推廣.
Most of the atmospheric research relays on observational data for verification. The data bank for atmospheric research (DBAR) center, funding supported by MOST, collects most of the observation from domestic and international units and supports academic and research center for their studies. This platform has been significant improved by TTFRI since 2011, such as data sorting and automatic data providing becomes very efficient. Owing to the re-origination of TTFRI, this data is transferred to CCU. In the past, the current project PI has spent tremendous amount of effort in collecting all kinds of meteorological data and images from several operational agents, such as CWB, and public web domains and has gained his own reputation. The PI is confident and is able to maintain DBAR to continuously support the data demand from academic groups.Currently DBAR achieved a lot of data and images collected from CWB, CAA, EPA, and CAF, ECMWF、NCEP、JMA, etc. More than 30 million of files have been collected. The proposed tasks for this coming year will be: 1. Establish DBAR backup system 2. Continue to collect/purchase current existed data items 3. Make-up the lost files and images in BDAR 4. Automatic downloads data from various agents and public domain 5. Collect more kinds from gravamen agents through signing up MOU 6. Assist the field project to create a real time data catalog and data archive 7. Improving the data server web page and service contents 8. High school earth science education promotion
