本計畫旨在接續108年所執行之「虛擬實境模擬運用於師資職前培育之初探」研究計畫,持續探討運用虛擬實境模擬訓練教師教學與班級經營技巧之效果。本研究將邀請十位師資生擔任受試者,採用單一個案研究法之平行跨行為多基線設計(parallel multiple baseline design),以「提供充足候答時間」、「肯定並複述學生回應內容」,以及「盡早發現並制止學生課堂不當行為」三項教學與班級經營技巧作為訓練標的。以3BVR沈浸式虛擬實境系統(Breaking Bad Behaviors immersive virtual reality system)為研究工具,運用行為改變技術之正增強概念操作虛擬學生行為及同步正向即時回饋功能以營造訓練情境。每位受試者需進入虛擬實境進行五次各七分鐘之教學模擬,模擬過程將進行錄影與觀察記錄以取得實驗數據並進行比較分析。實驗完成後將訪談所有受試者以蒐集其透過虛擬實境模擬學習教學與班級經營技巧之感受。此外,本研究亦將召開三次焦點團體會議,除提供本研究執行過程中之專業諮詢外,亦將討論如何設計虛擬實境任務與問題情境以發展教學與班級經營技巧之訓練方案。以上資料將運用Spss軟體與Atlas.ti 8軟體進行質量化分析以瞭解虛擬實境教學模擬之訓練效果,並將依據研究結果提出運用虛擬實境模擬培訓教學與班級經營能力之建議。
This project aims to continue the research project of "A Pilot Study for Utilizing Virtual Reality Simulation in Pre-Service Teacher Training" carried out in 2019 and to explore the effect of virtual reality simulation training on teachers' teaching and classroom management skills. This project will invite ten pre-service teachers as participants, and will adopt the single-case research parallel multiple baseline design as the research design. The teaching and classroom management skills regarding "provide sufficient wait time", " praise and repeat students' responses,” and "discover and stop students’ disruptive behavior" will be chosen as the three training targets. The project will use the “Breaking Bad Behaviors immersive virtual reality system” as a research tool and will design the VR training situations by operating the virtual students’ behavior and offering synchronize real-time feedback based on the positive enhancement concept of the behavior change technology. Each subject is required to enter the virtual reality classroom to run a ten-minute teaching simulation five times. The simulation process will be recorded and observed to get the experimental data for analysis. All participants will be interviewed in order to ascertain their perceptions of virtual reality simulation training. In addition, the project will hold three focus group meetings to obtain professional consultation regarding the implementation of the project, and will also discuss how to design virtual reality tasks and training situations for teaching and classroom management skills. All the data above will be analyzed by using the Spss and Atlas.ti 8 software to explore the training effect of virtual reality simulation. Based on the research results, some suggestions about how to utilize virtual reality simulation as an instrument to train teaching and classroom management skills will be offered.
