Abstract:	敬字亭，乃是先民「敬字惜紙」文化的遺留。分布於台灣地區的敬字亭，至今存而未毀的還有一百一十餘座。因為敬字亭文化是傳統的鄉土文化、民間信仰，因此其稱謂多樣化，沒有統一的稱呼。又因為沒有統一的稱呼，以致稱謂正確者、不恰當者、錯誤者並列，而且又無學者作過確切的分析和討論。因此，本文即針對台灣地區敬字亭的稱謂加以分析和探討，一則搜集台灣地區敬字亭的各種稱謂，分析探討了三十三種稱謂；再則對敬字亭的建築型式和稱謂加以探討；三則探討敬字亭的各種誤稱，分析探討了十一種錯誤的稱謂；四則製作「敬字亭稱謂更正表」，希望每座敬字亭都有正確的稱謂，有助於「敬字惜紙」文化的發揚。 This is a case study on "Respect Words Pavilion" in Taiwan Area. At first, to collect relevant words on name of "Respect Words Pavilion". Secondary, to study the building type and the names on "Respect Words Pavilion". Third, to study wrong description on name of "Respect Words Pavilion". The fourth, to make a list of errata on name of the "Respect Words Pavilion" appropriately. I hope each one of "Respect Words Pavilion" has its correct name, and help people understand the culture of "cherish the paper and words".
