本文先論述陳白沙與王陽明心學發展脈絡中承先啟後的湛若水心學之哲學史定位。再論述其心學也出入於程朱理學與陽明心學之間,不務外以遺內,亦不務內而遺外,而有以心學為本體,卻折中於程朱與陸王之間。文中強調他的功夫實踐論是讀書窮理與隨處體認天理互發的特色。文本則涉及湛若水仁智雙攝,攝智歸仁的心學對當前臺灣通識教育之理會和生命意義教育的值得啟發處。
This article first states the position of Zhan Ruo-shui's doctrine of mind in the history of philosophy and how his doctrine balances between Cheng-Zhu and lu-Waog's doctrine s of mind. emphasizing his theory of self-cultivation and practice as the mutual compliment between "studying to fathom the principles.and "recognizing the heavenly principle everywhere." Here we explore how Zhao Rou-shui's doctrine of mind can inspire the general education and life education in Taiwan
