The book is a research and proposal on the integration of the contemporary landscape design that combine
energy system into the landscape, also as the master program of department of Landscape Architecture of
    Chinese Cultural University.
The book examines whether Taiwan can implement the design concept of micro-hydropower, and selects the
Taoyuan city as a proposal case, uses the existing channels and river systems to make proposals for hydropower
as a productive landscap e.The paper discusses the relationship between the establishment of a micro-hydropower system and the surrounding space environment, also develope the surrounding public space, discuss the possibility and method of developing open space at the same time when building a micro hydropower system.
Compared with general hydropower-related papers, which focus on benefits and productivity, this article focuses more on space functions and development forms.Hope the research will provide a reference for the contemporary trend of alternative settlements and the relationship between hydrology and the contribution to the future landscape development.
