Objective: The current study was to investigate the influence of sleeping quality on Taekwondo performance of collegiate athletes. Methods: 21 college taekwondo athletes participated as experimental subjects, The average age was 20 ± 2 years. In this study, all subjects received repeated - measure. In two conditions including good sleeping quality condition and poor sleeping quality condition. Sleeping quality of both conditions was monitored by using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Every subject will be measure once quality of sleep respectively good and pool sleep quality by PSQI every five days. The study had recoded conditions with PSQI and performance for this week. I used SPSS software to analyze data by paired-sample t test with α=.05 level of significance. Result: The results indicated that with good sleeping quality, elite collegiate taekwondo athletes, performed significantly better in the spinning kick hit power (34.7±6.2 VS 31.7±6 lb,p=.001). the spin kick strike reaction (0.55±0.1 VS 0.61±0 sec, p=.01). and vertical jump (42.7±9.5 VS 40.3±9.6 cm, p=.004).. No significant difference was found in the performance of attack and counterattack (6.3±1 VS 6.7±1 fraction, p=.168) ( 7.8±1.3 VS 7.3±1.2 fraction, p=.197).
