The work dilemmas encountered in today's social work have also been encountered in the development of social work in the past. The predecessors have also taken to the streets in order to strive for work rights and survival. People are the carriers of living in social entities. Social workers are no exception. In the current events, people are attracted by various economic, political, social and cultural contexts and external forces are often difficult to see. The whole picture of the incident can only be learned from the historical experience of the past by examining the present with a broader perspective. History and reality are inseparable. Only by understanding the past can we understand the present and grasp the future. Based on this, this study will use the thoughts and deeds of Taiwan's senior social work teacher Li Yunshang for more than 50 years as the main axis of research, to understand the development track of Taiwan's social work, and to review how the predecessors used to practice social work in all chaos. And sum up the spiritual connotation and concrete actions to construct the image of Taiwanese social workers in the past and provide opportunities for future generations to compare.
