本論文從三方面探討傳統社團對澳門政治發展的影響，並且以澳門街坊會聯合總會為例進行深入研究。本論文認為：雖然澳門已於 1999 年回歸中國，但是葡萄牙統治時期所建立的制度仍然是澳門政治發展過程中的主要角色。經過時間的推移，在澳門實施的「一國兩制」政策，也開始逐漸對澳門的政治發展產生影響。
從文獻中，本論文歸納出三個探討傳統社團對澳門的政治發展的影響的主要面向。第一、葡萄牙統治時期的影響；第二、中國傳統政治體制和政治文化的影響；第三、澳門回歸後中國的影響。實證數據以及訪談資料顯示，時至今日，葡萄牙統治的政治文化，仍然影響着澳門的政治發展。同時，中國傳統政體制和政治文化以「親族感情」和「儒家價值」的方式深刻地影響著澳門政治的發展。
根據上述研究架構，本論文針對560個澳門巿民進行了27個問題的問卷調查，以及透過深度訪談了澳門街坊會聯合總會的4位資深工作者。問卷及訪談資料結果顯示：澳門的政治體制雖然是由澳葡時期所設立，但是實際的政治操作卻是由中國體制的影響最為深切。作為支持中國政府施政的傳統社團，它的發展必然將繼續受到中國政治體制及政治文化的影響。從澳門的政治穩定角度來看，巿民越認同像街坊會聯合總會這樣的傳統社團，對澳門的政治發展和「一國兩制」下的「中澳關係」，越有正面的影響。
This paper discusses the influence of traditional societies on Macao's political development from three aspects, and case analysis the U.G.A.M.M. This paper consider that although Macau returned to China in 1999, the main part which is established of Portuguese colonial rule is most influence Macau political delemonent. With the passage of time, the "one country, two systems" policy implemented in Macau, it was begun to impact on the political development of Macao.
This paper summarizes literature consider that’s needed to discuss the three main faces that the influence of traditional societies on the political development of Macao. The first, it impact of the period of Portuguese rule. The second, it influence of China's traditional political system and political culture. The third, it impact of China after the return of Macao. According to the survey data and the interview data, that Portugal ruling political culture still affects the political development of Macau, from the Portuguese colonial period to nowaday. At the same time, China's traditional political system and political culture which ways with "kindred feelings" and "Confucian values" to deeply influenced the development of Macao politics.
According to the above research structure, in this paper, 560 Macao people were surveyed that asked 27 questions and interviewed four senior workers of the U.G.A.M.M. to analyze that Macao’s political system was established during the Portuguese colonial period but in fact the political operation is the most deeply influenced by the Chinese system. Andthen as a traditional society which is supporting China, its development will necessarily to influence by China’s political system and political culture. From Macau political stability of view, Macau citizen more and more ident the transitional societies like the U.G.A.M.M. then it will be more and more positive influences with China and Macau relationship which is under the "one country, two systems" policy.
