Abstract:	本書處理臺灣現代劇場從六○年代到九○年代劇場身體,話語,和文本敘事之間的消長與辯證.以身體技術作為工夫實踐如此雙重的身體性,從外部轉向內在,經由轉化自我去建立起主體.驗證六○至九○年代臺灣現代劇場,包括臺灣八○年代末期興起的"本土化"運動,如何從修身的歷史經驗,找到臺灣現代劇場獨特的主體性,朝著追尋自我的方向前進.本書不僅反映了作者對臺灣現代劇場長期的關注與觀察,也結合其對劇場理論與實踐的專業知識,為研究臺灣"身體劇場"的重要著作
