    Abstract: 本計畫引用西方色彩科學法則,依據人類視覺特性所構建之色彩空間體系,應用於東方繪畫顏料之色彩特性分析與整理,可以準確的量測顏料在可見光與近紅外線下的反射特性,對於文保修護之全色處理需要達到在可見光調配至與所取代之標的相近之顏色,但在紅外線下能辨識其差異之需求,可以提供便利且科學化的工具來挑選顏料,對於東方繪畫文保修護技術之精進是新的突破。計畫中將先製作不同材質如膠彩用之新岩與天然岩之實體色票,並以頻譜色度儀量測色樣在可見光與近紅外線的頻譜反射率,並將其量測數據構建成資料庫,即可用國際標準CIELAB色彩空間體系來定序這些色票在可見光下的色彩座標,同時運用多頻譜影像系統來確認其在紅外線下的特性差異,將可有效輔助修護過程中選配色的工作。而此資料庫的建立,不僅可用科學化的座標來索引顏料的色彩特性,更可提供多頻譜影像掃描分析時之基底特徵頻譜,可以提供比對未知顏料的基本資料㡽,對科學化文物保存修護與數位典藏有長遠之效能。
    This research develops color swatches system for color pigments used in Oriental paintings. The process is based on the theory of Colorimetry and spectral imaging. A series of color samples will be produced with the commonly used color mineral pigments in Asia. Spectral colorimeter is used to measure the spectral reflectance of the color samples both in the visible and the NIR wavelength ranges. These measurements are collected into database, which can be used for color selection process by indexing the standard color space coordinates (CIELAB color space). The corresponding NIR values can be retrieve easily to determine whether this color pigment is suitable for the color matching criteria. A grating-based spectral imaging system is used to verify the prediction by taking the narrow-band NIR images. It is intended to establish a scientific numerical system to record the spectral color characteristics of these Oriental color pigments. This work will not only help the museum community in managing and searching the color property of the Oriental color pigments in the color compensation process, the spectral information can also be used as the fundamental vector spaces in spectral image analysis. It is a valuable research for culture heritage science.
