At present time, of all the sports in Taiwan, Taichichuan is undoubtedly being regarded as the most popular sport. The way of practicing "Chi" is called "Chi-gong". The practice of Chi-gong contains three main elements; adjusting one's physical, mental and breathing status. To adjust one's physicial status focuses on body action and gesture, to adjust mental status focuses on mind control, to adjust breathing focuses on breathing way. The masters in wushu field think that Chi-gong may differ in two ways, Cultivating "Chi", or practicing "Chi". The former one is emphasized on the training of one's will and mind, what it focuses is to practice Chi of righteousness from the nature, and the way of training is to govern by doing nothing. The latter one focuses on practicing Chi in one's body, generally speaking, it is to strengthen and smooth the circulation system of the human body, the practice way is by one's will, which will guide "Chi" to reach the field of using "Chi" with one's mind.
