摘要: | The mechanism of hypoxic training is through lower environment partial pressure of oxygen with conditioning program, to elevate serum erythrocytes (RBC) and Hemoglobin (Hb) concentration, improving the cardiac output and arterialvenous oxygen difference, hence increasing the oxygen delivery efficiency. Purpose: to investigate the influences of short-term hypoxic chamber training program on hematological variables and field performances on elite distance runners. Methods: there were eleven elite college level distance runners volunteered to participate intermittent hypoxic training (IHT, 90mins/day, 3days/week, for 4weeks), the blood examinations and 12 minutes field running tests were performed at baseline, 2(superscript th), 4(superscript th), 6(superscript th) week, respectively. Results: there was no significant increasing on RBC (F: 1.40, p>.05), however, Hb concentration of baseline and 2(superscript th) week were lower than 6(superscript th) week significantly (F: 7.49, p>.05). Subsequently, both of MCH and MCHC had similar respones, the 4th and 6th week were lower than baseline and 2(superscript th) week, respectively(F: 30.65, 61.47, p>.05). Conclusion: there were no significant increasing on hematological response, especially on RBC and Hb concentrations, even, field aerobic performance did not improve after IHT, there were only significant increasing between 6(superscript th) and 2(superscript th) week. For IHT, we suggest that, the future studies should focus on variations of hypoxic training program design and environment oxygen concentration, to distinguish the effects of training effects from hypoxia stimulation. |
