摘要: | This study evaluated the effect of circuit resistance training on 200-m front crawl swimmers. 12 male swimmers of the Kaohsiung County swimming team were selected as subjects. The intensity of 200-m front crawl swimming was estimated by testing blood lactate changes at the 1(superscript st), 3(superscript rd), 5(superscript th), 7(superscript th), 9(superscript th), 12(superscript th), 15(superscript th) minute after the National Winter Short Course Championship. An 8-week circuit resistance-training model was designed according to the blood lactate changes after the competition. The blood lactate changes were measured at the 1(superscript st), 3(superscript rd), 5(superscript th), 7(superscript t), 9(superscript th), 12(superscript th), 15(superscript th) minute after the National Spring Short Course Championship as the post-training data. The results were revealed as follows. First, the average blood lactate was 10.66±0.74 mmol•L^(-1), the peak volume appeared at the 1(superscript st) minute after competition. Second, the post-training performance and the blood lactate improved significantly compared with the pre-training data (p<.05). Third, the maximum anaerobic capacity, the anaerobic ability and the fatigue index improved significantly after training (p<.05). Fourth, the blood lactate volume after the circuit training was 11.26±0.98 mmol•L^(-1), significantly higher than the pre-training volume (10.99±0.54mmol•L^(-1)) (p<.05). We conclude that the intensity of this 8-week circuit training was similar to competitions. The blood lactate, performance, the maximum anaerobic capacity, the anaerobic ability and the fatigue index were significantly improved after the 8-week training. The result can serve as an index of training intensity. |
