    題名: 新品系銀合歡在不同生育地之四年生長

    摘要: 不同海拔高度及不同pH值土壞之試驗地,栽植4類共有生長潛力,不同品系的銀合歡:K156(四倍體異葉銀合歡)、K743(異葉銀合歡×巨型銀合歡)、K636(耐才蝨之巨型銀合歡)、K340(銀合歡),並以廣佈世界的商業品種K8作對照。四年生的高生長和直徑生長,在不同的試區皆呈顯著的差異。在低海拔(60m)且土壤pH值5.6-6.2的屏東縣南州試區,K636之生長最佳;低海拔(300m)但土壤pH值5.1-5.6之臺東縣電光試區,則以K156、K743及K636生長最佳;海拔600-750m,土壤pH值5.1-6.0之臺東縣太麻里(Ⅰ)及高雄縣扇平試區,亦似K156、K743及K636生長最優,K746及K636次之;高海拔(900m),土壤呈酸性(pH值4.2-4.4)之太麻里(Ⅱ)試區,以K156最佳,K743次之。以上述生長資料視之,K156具抗酸性土壤及耐高泠基因,是極有希望在本省推廣之造林樹種。在本省廣爲栽植的K8(巨型銀合歡)在多數試區生長皆比其他品系差,實宜以其他品系銀合歡代之。K636對銀合歡木蝨之侵害恢復力強,低海拔以下及土壤pH值在5.5-6.2之地區,可栽植K636。
    Four accessions of leucaena were introduced and planted on habitats of different elevations and with different soil PH values. The widely distributed commercial accession, K8, was taken as contrast. The 4 year data showed that 5 accessions under analysis were significantly different on ouch site. At Nan-Chou, 60m elevation and soil pH values 5.5-6.2, K636 performed better than others. At Dien-Guang, 3OOm elevation and soil of pH 5.1-5.6, K156, K743 and K636 observed lobs the best. At areas such as Tai-Ma-Li (Ⅰ) and San-Ping of 600-750m elevations with soil pH values mace shun 5.5, K156, K743 and K636 also had the bail yield. However, Tai-Me-Li (Ⅱ) of 900m elevation and arid soil (pH4.2-4.4), K156 surpassed others. Basis on these data, K156 has potential for high yield and appeares to be the arid soil and cool tolerant accession. Compare with other accessions, the performance of the commercial K8 seems to be in the lowest rank in all locations observed. It is recommended that K636 be chosen for plantation in areas at low elevation (under 500m) with soil pH values 5.5-6.2 and K156 for other kinds of habitats.
