以裂區設計之試驗比較3種相思樹穴植管苗和塑膠袋苗於林地之成活率及生長表現,試區設置在台東縣永豐餘電光林場,海拔300m,土壤PH值5.0-5.5,主試區為樹種,副試區為不同容器。結果顯示,4個月和4年生之林木成活率,不同育苗法之間並無顯著的差異,1年生至4年生之樹高和2至4年生之胸徑,不同育苗法培育的苗木,亦無差異,表示由穴值管或塑膠袋培育3種相思樹苗木之成活率及初期生長並無差別。3種相思樹之中,台灣相思樹和直幹相思樹在1-3年生時生長表現相同,但自第4年起,直幹相思樹逐漸凌駕在台灣相思樹之上。耳莢相思樹從第一年起即顯現比其他2種樹種更佳的生長表現,無論是高生長或直徑生長皆優於直幹相思樹和台灣相思樹。
The study concentrated on the influence of different containers on the performance of acacia species after planting. Seedlings of 3 acacia species were raised in dibbling tubes and plastic bags for 5 mo before planting. Split-plot design, with containers as subplots and species as major plots, was applied in the trial. The planting site was located at Dienguang, eastern Taiwan, at on elevation of about 300m and soil pH of 5.0-5.5. The results revealed that there was no significant difference in survival rates of 3 acacia species by using 2 different container stocks at 4 mo and 4 yr after planting. No difference was observed in 1- to 4-yr tree height and 2- to 4-yr DBH growth for the species raised in the 2 containers. As for species performance, Acacia mangium and A. confusa had the same growth rate during the ages of 1-3 yr, but that of the former began to exceed the latter after 4 yr. Among the 3 species, A. auriculiformis performed better than the other 2 species in terms of height and DBH growth in all ages observed. It is concluded that in habitats of Dienguang, A. auriculiformis had better potential than the other 2 species.
