Basketball rules are the foundation of basketball games, that is, games are conducted according to the regulations of basketball rules. The common incompatibility of referees, coaches and players in basketball games mostly derives from their incomprehension of rules, and cause further trilateral loss of rights and interests. This research aims to investigate whether the effect of background variables on referees, coaches and players in UBA cause the difference of their awareness achievement of basketball rules. This research was conducted by using questionnaire method. The referees, coaches and players in eight teams of 2015-16 Academic Year UBA are the main research objects. Using 2014 National C Basketball Referee Rules Examination as test, Independent Sample T test and One-way ANOVA were applied to aggregate the statistic analysis of data .The result of this research shows that background variables of the referees, coaches and players partly affect the difference of their awareness achievement of basketball rules. Furthermore, coach level and referee certification have positive correlation to the awareness achievement of basketball rules. Other background variables do not have significant effect on the awareness achievement of basketball rules.
