物聯網雖已在智慧居家、智慧物流等產業建立成功案例,但在智慧零售領域的發展相對延遲,也因此,有關在零售業扮演要角的POS系統應如何以及能否有效和物聯網合譜新的服務創新應用樂章,便成為重要但尚未被深究的課題。
因此,本研究透過訪談方式,先從策略經營、技術能力與價值回饋等三面向進行理解,並進一步作為探討POS系統在物聯網下的新定位與應用價值的基礎。研究結果發現,POS系統在物聯世代下,將轉變成為關鍵元件的角色,扮演主動提供服務之端平台。而面對物聯網的應用需求,將迫使POS系統面臨產品規劃與設計上進行轉型,而轉型後的POS系統將讓企業擁有與物聯網關鍵性技術,進而提升競爭力與價值;同時,物聯網在零售市場應用的導入,也將創造新的資訊應用與服務模式。
Although the Internet of Things has been established with success stories such as smart home appliances and intelligent logistics, the field of intelligent retail development has not experienced the same growth. The POS system plays a critical role in retail industries, however the extent to which it could create service innovation within the Internet of Things has yet to be fully explored.
Thus, this study has conducted interviews to understand the following three aspects: business management, technical capacity and product value, with the aim of using them to further analyze the feasibility of combining the POS industry and IoT applications.
This study concludes that IoT requirements dictate that the POS system supplier transform the product plan and design, thereby allowing the enterprise to own key technologies and boost competitiveness. Furthermore, the implementation of Interne.
