Abstract:	紡織工業中無梭織機織造過程所產生的織邊約佔原料的3∼5％，其對於原料的耗損至為龐大，相對地提高了織造成本，然而織邊在織造工程裡是無法捨去的。通常織邊回收經處理後，都是當作下腳棉或是工業填充材使用。為了提高無梭織機織邊的再利用性，我們做了無數的研究和實驗。最近，我們成功的發展出利用轉筒包繞式撚線機 [1] 將織邊以包繞方式加撚製成織邊撚線的技術，這是其他撚線機無法做到的。本論文除了詳細介紹這種革命性的織邊加撚製程技術外，並進一步探討加撚工程中撚向對織邊撚線的強度、伸度、耐磨擦性的影響。無論是 S 或 Z 撚向的織邊撚線經實驗測試發現，都具有良好的強度 (約 1.85cN/tex)、伸度 (約 17.7 ％ ) 和耐磨擦等物理性質，並且符合織造工程所要求的織造條件。從外觀來看，織邊撚線具有低支數 (Ne0.1 ∼ 0.2) 和花式紗的毛絨效果。經過織造後的織邊撚線，可用於毛衣編織、皮包布、腳踏塾、農業用土工布、輪送帶基布、塑膠板基布、複材板基布等用途。成功的發展這種能把織邊加撚的革命性技術，將可增高無梭織機織邊的再利用性，並能減少紡織工業廢棄物和資源浪費。 ), elongation (about 17.7%) and abrasion resistance, which are important factors for weaving processes. The appearance of selvage yarn has low count (5905 ∼ 2953 tex) and can lead to hair fancy effects for fancy yarns. The woven cloth using selvage yarn can be widely used for knitting wear, sack, mattings, agricultural geotextiles, foundation of transportation belts, plastic and composite boards. This selvage-twist technique are advantageous for textile industry such as increasing the recyclability of shuttleless loom selvage and reducing the destructor and resources waste in textile industry.
