法學教育發展內在動力並不來自於外在法律體系的建構，也不表現為高校數量的幾何級增加，最重要的需求來自於維護法制、實踐法治價值的法律人才。因為法治觀念的提高和法律意識的養成需要長期的積累與過程，法學教育不僅培養法律職業者，而且肩負培育全體公民法律信仰以及提高公民法律素質的使命，這對法學教育的體制、教育目標和知識結構等方面提出了改革要求。作為以培養法律人才為目的的法學院，需要在法治發展過程中不斷地獲得制度的支持，及時地回應社會的變化。當然大陸社會治理結構的變化也在深刻地改變著法律人才的培養模式。
大陸地區法學教育改革的外在因素則主要是全球化、資訊化以及由此帶來的知識經濟、科學技術發展的重大影響。在資訊化、國際化的時代，一個國家法學教育所承擔的功能並不限於為主權國家的利益服務，它必須考慮經濟全球化背景下超越國家利益的「世界公民」的需求，使法學院培養出的法律人才具有成熟的「全球化意識」，要適應未來法學教育的發展趨勢，本論文探討的重點也在此。
Development of Legal Education intrinsic motivation does not come from the external construction of the legal system, nor the performance of a number of colleges and universities to increase exponentially, the most important needs maintenance from legal, practical value of the rule of law in the legal profession. Because develop needed legal idea of improving and legal awareness of the long-term accumulation and the process of legal education not only trained legal professionals, and shoulder cultivate all citizens legal beliefs and improve citizens' legal quality of the mission, which the legal education system, educational goals and knowledge structure put forward demands for reform. External factors mainland legal education reform are mainly globalization, information technology and the resulting knowledge-based economy, a significant impact on science and technology development. In information technology, the internationalization of the era, a national legal education undertaken function is not limited to serving the interests of national sovereignty, it must consider the needs of the context of economic globalization beyond national interests "citizen of the world", so that law school culture "global awareness" of legal talent has proven to adapt to the development trend of the future of legal education, the focus of this paper is also discussed here.
