摘要:	品格教育是近年來相當受到重視的，但在學校教育與家庭教育的弱化，使品格教育無法有效地落實在生活當中，再加上社會不良典範，讓孩子在媒體的衝擊下，沒有正確的榜樣。良好的品格是孩子學習的重要基礎，需從小開始培養，使孩子有好的性格，進而才有好的學習態度。繪本是孩子在學習過程中，不可或缺的重要導師，不僅讓孩子增廣見聞、培養藝術陶冶能力，在閱讀過程中誘發孩子思考與連結，更可以從中培養孩子有良好的品格。因此，本研究首先探討品格教育對孩子的重要性，進而探討將品格教育融入繪本對孩子的影響。而後深入探討基督徒對品格教育的看法及如何活出良好的性格，且提出兒童品格的建立及其重要性。針對台灣福音書房出版的性格童話繪本，從中選出兩本與其他相關品格繪本，依故事內容、圖文風格及含義進行分析。綜合探討的結果發現基督徒培養良好的性格，是與了解神的經綸、創造及神的自己有極大的關係，越認識、接受神，就越有基督良好的人性與神的神聖性情。藉此本筆者將自身的領會、經歷化為創作呈現出來，不僅省思自己的繪畫過程與創作理念，也希望給予家長及相關教育者之參考。 Character education has very much been valued in recent years, however the weakening of education at school and at home has prevented an effective adoptation of such character education in daily life. Plus, poor examples in society awash the children through mass media leaving these children void of proper patterns. A virtuous character is the foundation of a child’s learning and needs to be cultivated at a young age. A child with a proper character can further develop a good learning attitude. Picture Books serve as an indispensible teacher in children’s learning process, and can not only expand children’s knowledge, cultivate their appreciation for art, induce their thinking and logical skills, but even more, picture Books can cultivate proper characters in children. Therefore, this research thesis explores the importance of children’s character education and then investigates the effects of embedding character education into storybooks on children. Finally, this thesis discusses the Christian view towards character and ways to live out a good character as a basis to underline the importance to building proper character in children. This includes an analysis comparing two books from the Character Storybook series published by the Taiwan Gospel Book Room and other related character storybooks, specifically in terms of content, illustration style, and intended morals of the stories. In summary, this research discovered that to have proper character is strongly related to understanding God’s economy, His creation, and God Himself. The more one knows God and receives God, the more he has a fine humanity and God’s divine nature. The researcher will in this creative work present her own personal realizations and experiences, including a self-evaluation not only her own illustrative processes and principles of creativity that hopefully will serve as a reference for teachers and related educators.
