本研究係根據競值架構的理論,以分析台灣企業的組織文化可以分為那些集群,並探討企業外在環境與組織變項對文化類型與集群之影響。本研究可得到下列三項主要發現:1.台灣企業的組織文化可分為弱市場導向文化、弱綜合文化及家族導向文化等三種集群,且以後者佔絕大多數。2.科技不確定性愈高,則企業愈傾向專案、市場及家族文化;科技不確定愈高,則企業少有弱綜合文化。3.在不同組織變項下文化類型及集群均無差異。本研究亦討論研究主要發現在管理實務及後續研究上的建議。
Based upon the theories of competing values framework, this study was to analyze the clusters of Taiwan businesses’ organizational culture, and to explore the effects of business external environment and organizational variables on cultural types and clusters.
The major findings of this study were presented below: 1. The corporate culture could be grouped into three clusters, which were weak market-driven culture, weak-comprehensive culture, and clan-driven culture. Among them, the majority of respondents was in clan-driven culture. 2. There was positive relationship between technological uncertainty and businesses’ adhocracy, market and clan culture. Furthermore, there was negative relationship between technological uncertainty and businesses’weak-comprehensive culture. 3. Organizational variables were not the major factors of cultural types and clusters. The author provided recommendation for managerial practice and further study.
