為篩選適合本轄區中低海拔地區種植之高品質水蜜桃品系,以9種低需冷性桃品系在苗栗地區就嫁接成活率、植株生育特性、開花期、果實特性、產量、產期分布等特性加以評估分析,並針對其低溫需求量探討各品系之適應性。在大湖地區水蜜桃以低溫需求量低於300小時之品系在植株生育及產量表現佳,各品系主要產期均僅7-10日,產期十分集中,欲分散產期,一果園中以種植多個不同產期之品系為宜。
A field test was conducted to assess the environment adaptation of high quality peach lines in low altitude hill production area in Miaoli. Nine lines of low chilling requirement peach were planted. The investigation items such as the survival rate of grafting, vegetative growth characteristics, flowering period, fruit characteristics, fruit yield, chilling requirement and adaptation were recorded and discussed. In Taihu area high yield lines were obtained from the entry with low chilling requirement below 300 hours. The major yield period of nine peach lines was ended within seven to ten days. More than two lines of peaches must be planted in order to prolong the harvest period in one orchard.
