Abstract:	台塑化自進入汽油市場以來，利潤節節攀升。本文以李嘉圖租的觀點，探討台塑化利潤的本質，並盡力避免“租”與“利潤“之間的混淆。結論顯示：台塑化的利潤係來自中油身為國營事業的經營無效率。因此，政府應儘快推動中油民營化，以落實油品市場自由化。 Since the FPCC entered into the gasoline market, its profits have increased rapidly. This article investigates the essence of the profits earned by the FPCC, while being careful to recognize the sources and nature of the Ricardian rents so as to avoid the confusion between profits and rents. The evidence shows that FPCC's profits mainly stem from the relative inefficiency of the CPC. The government should promote the privatization of the CPC as soon as possible so as to provide for progressive liberalization in the gasoline market.
