當身體從事規律運動時,可增進生理代謝能力及運動表現,也可有效降低罹患各種慢性疾病的風險。一般健康人或慢性疾病患者的健康促進或疾病改善,在過去通常採用長時間中強度的持續運動訓練方式,而近年來的研究發現,長時間中強度運動在運動過程中有更高的不舒適感,使規律運動的意願降低;本研究探討相關文獻發現,高強度間歇訓練對一般健康人、過重或肥胖者及慢性心臟疾病患者,皆可有效改善代謝及心血管風險因子、內皮功能及增進運動表現,高強度間歇訓練具有較短的運動時間特性,相較於長時間中強度持續運動,高強度間歇訓練可獲得類似或更好的訓練效益。在適當的規劃及監控運動強度與持續時間,高強度間歇訓練是適合各種族群的運動訓練方式。
Engaged in regular exercise not only improve the physiological metabolism and exercise performance, but also reduce the risk of various chronic disease. In the past, the health promotion for healthy individuals or the improvement in disease for the patients with chronic disease, they usually adopt the training method by continuous moderate exercise with longer exercise during. Recent research indicates that the higher uncomfortable in the process of continuous moderate exercise will reduce the willingness of regular exercise. In the present research found that high intensity interval training could effectively improve cardiovascular risk factors, endothelial function and exercise performance in healthy, overweight / obesity individuals and patients with chronic heart disease. The high intensity interval training has a characteristic of a short duration. Compared to continuous moderate exercise, high intensity interval training has similar or better benefits after training. Therefore, appropriate planning and monitoring exercise intensity and duration, high intensity interval training is suitable for various populations.
