Abstract: Kiln is the main facilitied in the ceramic production activities. The interior spatial organization of the ceramics is being constructed under the kiln's site. Ceramics is the most important production business in the economic activities of Yin-k6 Town. The social spatial structure of Yin-ko Town is being constructed under the social practice of the ceramics.
During the period of 1950-1969, the ceramics of Yin-ko Town is under the production mode of the ”coal-burning kiln” with the ”kiln mouth” as being the central site to form ate the social organization of co-existence of ”family, kiln and store”. It reflects the economic relationship between co-production and consuming. It also explains the inter-dependent but class conscious social relationship of the captial and labor relations at that period. It's just like the co-existence of ”farm, family and field” in agriculture, and the coexistence of ”commercial, family and store” in commerce.
In ceramics, there is no conflicts between agricu1ture and commerce with the labor power, production planning, land use, social and religious activities. They even cooperate with each other. They individually form ate small-ga-taw living circle inside. And they gather big-ga-taw power circle outside. It formates the social spatial association of the complementation of the agriculture, ceramics and commerce.
