Abstract:	《大專英文寫作技巧及閱讀》是本實用性很高的大專英文寫作教科書。該書提供了簡明的寫作指引及範例，並強調寫作過程及閱讀的重要性。多樣化的作業習題讓學生有充分練習的機會。該書較大的缺點在於未能培養學生重視讀者需求的寫作習慣。 College Writing Skills With Readings (New York：McGraw-Hill, 1993, 666pages) is a very practical composition textbook for college strdents. It contains clear guidelines and good examples for writing college essays. The process of writing and the effect of reading on writing are emphasized. Various exercises in the textbook provide strdents chances for intensive practice. The major defect of the book is its being unable to cultivate students' appropriate concepts of audience.
