    Abstract: 德清俞曲園（一八二一－一九○七）著有《諸子平議》，其卷八，列舉《老子》凡五十八條，就王弼注及河上公注評其是非，議其正誤，此五十八條，條文遍及《老子》達四十二章，雖或有精義，惜所據底本訛誤，故所評議不免失當，今略舉其議論不當者，分章逐條辨正之。其中有釋義失當者，如「道可道，非常道；名可名，非常名。」有句讀失當者，如「故常無，欲以觀其妙；常有，欲以觀其徼。」有底本訛誤者，如「萬物作焉而不辭。」至如「谷神不死」則是各家說者並誤，不知「神」乃「申」之借字，而「谷」本作「浴」，「浴申不死」是謂「谷水延申不絕」，猶「其鬼不神」是謂「其鬼祟之事，不得申張」，而諸說《老》者，誤解「神」為名詞，多以「鬼神」言之，不能不辨正之，故亦隨文附論也。此拙作之大略，尚祈大雅先進，不吝賜教，是所至盼也。
