自20世紀中葉起，全球出現大量移民潮，緊接著在科技化、國際化與全球化的影響下加劇了社會的變遷。在臺韓人社會的形成可追溯到1920年代，在同為日本殖民的背景之下，臺灣與韓國開始有所往來，歷經了種種歷史與社會變遷而逐漸發展為現今的在臺韓人社會。目前在臺灣與韓國兩國有關於在臺韓人的相關研究甚少，本研究將研究重點著墨於21世紀前後到現在的在臺韓人社會發展以及在臺韓人社區組織的現況。另輔以對100名在臺韓人的問卷調查來窺探現今在臺韓人社會的組成與面貌，內容包括人口統計、職業類別、來臺因素與社交生活等等。除此之外透過各種管道蒐集整理出目前在臺韓人社區組織的名單，並進一步提供其發展史與組織詳細介紹。在第四章兼論與在臺韓人相關的兩國政府政策，並在最後結論部分總結今昔狀況之對比以及給予建議。簡而言之本研究的主要重點內容為敘述在臺韓人社會的變遷與現況，並且透過本論文統整出目前在臺韓人社區組織的相關資料以及與在臺韓人相關之政策。
Since the mid-20th century, the migration of human population became more and more active than ever before. Under the influence of internationalization and globalization, the world has changed rapidly. The formation of Korean community in Taiwan can be traced back to A.D 1920, when both Taiwan and Korea were under the period of Japanese colony, and since then Taiwan and Korea begin to communicate with each other. As time went on, the current Korean society in Taiwan began to take shape after several social vicissitudes. There is very little information available regarding the Koreans in Taiwan nowadays. The aim of this study is to investigate the current development of Korean society and community in Taiwan. Besides, a questionnaire survey is designed to explore the current situation of Koreans in Taiwan, including their population, occupation, lifestyle and so on. In addition, there is an integrated list of all the current Korean communities in Taiwan. In chapter four, it discusses the related policies of two countries and provides some suggestions to the government in the conclusion part.
