    Abstract: In article Arseny Nesmelov's creativity is analyzed. In the products A. Nesmelov pulls together poetry and prose, such phenomenon of literary process of 20 centuries as the prose written by poets therefore is considered. The prose of the writer is characterized. Themes of creativity of the writer are analyzed. The First World War theme is defined as main. The general themes of poetry and prose in A. Nesmelov's creativity come to light. The comparative analysis of products of different genres is carried out. Such feature of all creativity of A. Nesmelov as the autobiographical feature is allocated.
