染顏料成品和合成樹脂成品種類多,國內各家染顏料製造廠和合成樹脂製造廠商所排放之廢水水質變異根大,且廢水中所含之主要有機污染物質除了幾種主要成份相同外,其餘則視生產品目不同而有所差別。由於製程排放廢水水質中所含的成份如有機主要污染物質,氯離子濃度專物質差異根大,因而影響處理技術軟體操作控制模式及硬體設計。經濟部工業局第一年(81年度)專案計畫《活性碳泥法處理染顏料廢水之輔導推廣》,經推廣於工業界實體應用,處理效果頗受業界肯定。爲了進一步有效應用及推廣活性碳泥法處理染顏料合成樹脂廢水,於第二年(82年度)延續計畫針對國內各生要染顏料製程廠排放廢水,進行二階段及三階段活性碳泥處理工程技術之研究及輔導台灣染顏料廠和合成樹脂廠所排放廢水之處理,以落實污染防治技術,進而促進產業升級與發展。又因廢水水質所含之主要有機污染物質均爲生物難分解性成份,故第三年(83年度)延續計畫除了利用多階段活性碳泥法及分散推流式反應池處理廢水,以提昇反應系統之處理功能外、並採用磁能應用於強化一階段及二階段活性碳泥法處理染顔料及合成樹脂工廠廢水之研究及輔導推廣,以增進活性碳泥法之處理功效,俾節省處理設施投資,節約能源及操作維護等費用。
Wastewater discharges coming from the dye and synthetic resin industry contain a multitude of difficult biodegradable compounds. The wastewater can be characterized as a highly variable, highly colored wastewater which is typically high in organic and chloride concentration.
The main purpose of this study is to conduct and evaluate the treatability of the organic wastewater by two-stage powdered activated carbon treatment process. From the experimental and on-site treatment results, we knew that the two-stage biophysical treatment technology is superior in COD removal for difficult biodegradable wastewater and resistance to shock loads to conventional activated sludge treament.
