    Abstract: 研究者受到實習經驗所感,欲探討國小中低年級兒童參加「兒童技能學習團體」其自主性的改變情形,研究者觀察的自主性向度包括自己做決定、控制自己的行為、相信自己的能力三方面。
From the internship experience, the researcher feel obligated to look into the change of the autonomy in the low and middle grade elementary school children participating in the group naming “Kids’ Skills Group”. The three dimensions of the autonomy which the research observed including self-decision, the control of the self-behavior, and the trust of self-ability.

The research subjects including 6 low and middle grade elementary children who have motives to make friends but with lower feeling of autonomy in learning of the social skills. The recruitment is to ask the counselling center of several elementary schools in Taipei to recommend subjects who have issues mentioned above, and finally got two ADHD children and one mild autism child enlisted.

The design of the research is to implement “Kids’ Skills Group”, the children in the group received 14 sessions of group activities, 90 minutes in a session and 1 session per week. Right after the Kids’ Skills Group, there is also a “Parents and Teachers Group” meeting with the parents of the subjects, total 10 sessions, every session is 60 minutes.

The method of research is qualitative research. First, all the information from the process of the Kids’Skills Group and from the interview of children and parents are transcribed verbatim. Second, the verbatim transcription is inducted and classified in an analytical way in order to discuss the effects of the autonomy of the subjects.

The result of the research is that the Kids’ Skills Group is contributing to the autonomy of the subjects in learning social skills. From the comprehensive points of view, the change of self-decision is in cognitive aspect from “I’m asked to learn” to “I want to learn”; the change of the control of self-behavior is from “lots of supporters' remind” to began to appear “inner self-directed“; the change of trust of self-ability is from “doubting if I can learn” to “giving the positive feedback to one’s own”. From the individual subject’s point of view, the change of autonomy reveals in different fashions. The parents of the children are also confirmed that there are positive changes in the perspective of autonomy.

In the end, the researcher hopes to make an empirical foundation for Kids’ Skills Group, and to provide reference to the parents and practitioners in the field of assisting the learning development of children according to the research result.
