生態旅遊是近年來觀光產業發展的重點，而住宿業是觀光旅遊業主要的組成元素之一。日本民宿的發展比台灣早，而環保旅館的推動，也比台灣迅速。其中以日本綠色採購網路組織(green purchasing network, GPN, 2004)的環保旅館評鑑制度最為完善。因此本研究運用此評鑑制度之五大基準，設計出本研究問卷。
研究結果得出人口統計變數會對民宿業者的環境態度與環境行為造成影響，而人口統計變數、環境態度與環境行為會對民宿業者推行環保民宿的意願造成影響。另一方面也發現，現今台灣民宿之實際經營面與民宿管理辦法之規範的衝突與矛盾點，如國人對民宿的定義模糊不清；而住宿業之評鑑標章也無完善的制定與推行，無法給予業者明確的執行規範及協助機制。
環保旅館、環保民宿包含在永續觀光發展概念之中，希望藉由此研究可做為推動與發展住宿業環保標章之參考，以達成真正的永續觀光。
Ecotourism is the expanding trend of recent years. Accommodation is an essential part of tourism. In order to fulfill the concept of ecotourism, it became very important to strengthen the environmental friendly of the accommodations.
The pension or inn is popular in oversea. In Japan, the development of pension is much earlier than Taiwan, and even then Green Hotel, too. The label of “Eco Challenge Hotel” of Green Purchasing Network (GPN) is a very maturity system of green hotel in Japan. Therefore, this study compare with five verdict divisions provided of it and de-velop to variables and inquiries. This inquiry is aimed at the proprietors of legal pension in Taiwan. The 604 piece of inquiries were being tested, and effectiveness is 81.89%.
The result of study was showed that the population variables had influenced on en-vironment attitude and environment behavior. And population variables, environment attitude and environment behavior had influenced on the promotion aspiration of Green B&B of pension proprietors.
But from the result that could also see some conflicts and contradictions between government regulations and actual operations, for example, the definition of pension is confusing by citizens. The verdict system of environmental preservation conducts of accommodation has not yet to be established or promoted, and couldn’t clearly help proprietors to manage their business of accommodation, too.
The supervision organizations of Taiwan try to promote Ecotourism in recent years. However, the verdict system of environmental preservation conducts of accommodation is still waiting to be established. Since the tourism conditions of Taiwan is similar to those of Japan. It is possible that we could through this study to set up the verdict sys-tem of accommodation in Taiwan. Hopefully, ecotourism could really fulfill in Taiwan.
