In this research, the writer using Differential Scanning Calorimetry ( DSC ) of the solid-liquid equilibria for eight organic binary mixtures¬―hexanedioic acid ( 1 ) + octanedioic acid ( 3 ), hexanedioic acid ( 1 ) + nonanedioic acid ( 4 ), hexanedioic acid ( 1 ) + decanedioic acid ( 5 ), pimelic acid ( 2 ) + octanedioic acid ( 3 ), pimelic acid ( 2 ) + nonanedioic acid ( 4 ), octanedioic acid ( 3 ) + decanedioic acid ( 5 ), nonanedioic acid ( 4 ) + decanedioic acid ( 5 ), decanedioic acid ( 5 ) + 2,3-dimethylbutanedioic ( 6 ). The experimental results are correlated using the Wilson, non-random two-liquid ( NRTL ) and Clarke-Glew ( CG ) activity coefficient models, and then use the data to describe the presentation that project the eutectic temperatures and liquidus temperatures.
This study could supply the data of solid-liquid equilibrium for doing research and developing about thermodynamics and providing basis reference data for industry segregation process.
