太極拳運動是世界上相當普及的中國傳統武術,也是養生健身的身體活動,不但在華人社會盛行,日本人的太極拳愛好者估計也有百萬人之多。筆者一生習練太極拳,喜好此一運動,先後在日本、韓國與台灣拜師學習太極拳,並參加國際競賽獲得佳績。本研究目的有三:(一)整理太極拳發展過程;(二)敘述筆者在日本、韓國與台灣學習太極拳的經過與感想;(三)說明筆者學習鄭子太極拳三十七式的動作心得。本技術報告主要包括;(一) 太極拳運動起源與發展;(二) 太極拳運動的特性與生理學探討;(三)筆者的太極拳體驗;(四)鄭子太極拳三十七式動作與技術。希望本技術報告能做為學習太級拳的外國人之參考,增加學習成果。
Tai Ji Quan is a worldwide exercise originated from traditional Chinese martial arts. Recently, it also becomes a popular physical activity for health promotion. It is quite popular in Chinese society and has been estimated up to one million people enjoy practicing this form of exercise in Japan. The author has been learning and practicing this activity in Japan, Korea, as well as Taiwan for more than 17 years; she also held gold medal titles in several international competitions. The purposes of this technical report are: 1) To investigate the development of Tai Ji Quan; 2) To describe the Tai Ji Quan study in Japan, Korea and Taiwan and make rough comparisons of certificate system in these countries; 3) To illustrate the performance of Zheng Zi Tai Ji 37 Styles. The contents of this technical report include: 1) The origin and development of Tai Ji Quan; 2) Investigation of characteristics and intensity of Tai Ji Quan; 3) The experience of the journey of Tai Ji Quan; and 4) Techniques and performance of the Zheng Zi Tai Ji 37 Styles. It is anticipated that this technical report will be helpful to those who are interested in this ancient Chinese physical activity.
