本研究之目的為瞭解台灣老年同志伴侶經營關係的方式與台灣老年同志伴侶對關係未來的期待與展望。本研究以四位正在關係中的老年男同志為研究對象，以半結構式深度訪談進行資料的蒐集，並使用折衷取向的資料分析方法輔以紮根理論的技術分析收集之訪談資料。研究結果發現，老年同志伴侶的交友管道依時間脈絡可以分為三個階段，並以眼神試探、口語交談和肢體接觸為其關係建立方式。而在伴侶關係經營的方式上可以從伴侶關係的謀合、伴侶關係中的性以及社會支持與社群網絡三個主題發現老年同志伴侶關係不同的樣貌。最後在老年伴侶關係面臨的挑戰與策略上，發現老年同志伴侶關係面臨婚姻與傳宗接代的壓力、因居住情形的影響、性需求的落差、老年安養照顧以及財產繼承等四個議題。最後，依據研究結果給予建議。
The purpose of this study was to understand the ways of maintenance of elderly gay couple relationships in Taiwan as well as how they looked forward to their future life. Based on a semi-structured in-depth interview and the strategy from eclectic data analysis approach as well as the coding techniques from grounded theory, couple relationships of four elderly gay men were collected and analyzed. The results showed that the dating pipeline of elderly gay men can be divided into three stages due to chronological context: elderly gay men built relationships by eyes temptation, oral conversations and physical contact. And the way of relational maintenance of elderly gay couples revealed three themes which showed different relational appearance, such as seeking cooperation from the partner in relationships, sexuality in relationships and social support and social network. The challenges and coping strategies in elderly gay relationships were discussed in four perspectives, such as the pressure of getting married and having descendant to carry on the family name, the influence of living conditions, difference of sexual needs, and elderly care and property heritage. Finally, according to the research results, some suggestions to counseling psychological field and further studies were provided.
