    Title: 不同性取向者其身體意象與休閒運動參與行為之影響-以男性為例

    Abstract: 本研究目的在探討性取向對身體意象、運動參與行為的影響。研究對象為居住於台北市的男性367位;其中異性戀280人,同性戀87人。研究方法以中文版多向度自我身體關係為施測問卷,並以獨立樣本T檢定、卡方考驗之百分比同質性檢定分析所得資料。研究結果發現同性戀在整體身體意象、外表評估、健康取向及身體部位滿意度評價較異性戀高;不同性取向對運動參與行為有影響;異性戀與同性戀在身體意象個別量表中的高、低分組對運動參與行為有差異。建議未來研究方法可採用縱貫式研究除樣本收集能更完整外,研究對象之社經地位選擇上應力求平等,以避免結果誤差。
    The purpose of this study was to investigate if sexual orientation difference will effect among body image on exercise behavior. The subjects were 367 men (280 straight and 87 gay) who live in Taipei city. Research method was using Chinese version of the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ). Independent-Samples T Test and Chi-Square (test of homogeneity proportions) were used for data analysis. Results indicated that overall body image, appearance evaluation, health orientation and body appearance satisfaction of gay had higher evaluated than straight; sexual orientation showed different impact on exercise behavior; exercise behavior was affected by body image separate subscale in high and low grouping score of straight and gay. It is recommended that research in the future can use longitudinal studies to complete the data collection. Furthermore, the socioeconomic status of subject should be equality in order to avoid the error of the results.
