Face to the trend of aging society, the proportion of aging population rises year by year. With the development of the information technology, digital reading has gradually become a part of daily life. In the past, we access knowledge through papers. Nowadays are using computers, smartphones, e-book readers and other mobile devices to receive it. Elders will unable to avoid learning technology products. If elders can use it smooth, it will be able to increase their living independence. But now many products design are not conforming elders user requires. Cause they can’t use technology products to make life more convenient. How to promote elders learning and using the innovative technology products is an important issue.
The purpose of this study to construct an e-book content by using visual graphical and audio guide system. Through the experimental to observe elders’ situation and facing problems in their operation, to analyze the manipulative cognitive of elders on e-book and problems encountered in the interface operation.
The research yielded the following, elders’ vision loss faster than hearing. Audio guide will help elders who trend on hearing to acquire uses and gratifications. On the content provider, most of the elders prefer with their own content related. If we can increase the cognition of other diseases, it will help to improve the elders’ acceptance intention of the technology products. Elders’ cognitive attitudes depend on the past experience of using technology products. If we can depth understanding the elders’ characteristics of the different regions, it will be closer to the usage needs of them and to increase their living values. Investigating achievement of this research, elders are not entirely rejection of technology products. Elders still hold a positive attitude of technology products and willing to accept the value of new technology products.
