The main purpose of this study was to discuss how different goal commitments affect the skill of volleyball underhand passing. 78 Nan-kai junior college students were served as the subjects. 78 subjects were divided into 2 groups (high and low goal commitments) and accepted 4 weeks of volleyball underhand ball passing training. Repeated Measures Two-way ANOVA was applied to process data. The result were as followed: 1. There was statistical significance between groups. The high goal group was showing better skill comparing with low goal group. 2. There was statistical significance between the lengths of training. The longer the group accepted training, the better result of performance it became. 3. The high goal group was improving greatly on the skill of underhand passing, especially after the third week, the performance was way better than low goal group.
