This study is to show the appropriate use of salutations and complimentary closes that many writers of business correspondence are still confused in using them. In writing commercial correspondence, the simplest way to remember is just only two things, i.e., Yours faithfully, that follows the salutation Dear Sir (s), and Yours sincerely, that follows the salutation beginning with personal name like.
